Extra Life 24 Hour Charity Stream

Hi guys, we’re happy to announce that we will be hosting a 24 Hour stream to raise money for the Extra Life Charity.  For those of you unfamiliar with the Extra Life group, they’re an organization that raises money for children’s hospitals through gaming, and allow for people to host their own teams and events in order to raise money for the cause.  Throughout the year they host several events, but most notably they encourage their teams to host a 24 hour stream sometime around November.  We’ve created our own Zero Period team, and welcome others to join our team and help raise money for the event.  If you’re interested in learning more about Extra Life, make sure to check out their site and our team page.  Feel free to join our team, encourage your friends and family to participate, and even donate if they can!  We have a donation goal of $500, we know it’s a bit high, but hope that we can reach it.

After years of watching other teams host their own 24 hour streams, we figured it was about time we try our hand at it, and do what we can to help out this fantastic cause.  On Saturday, November 7th at 8 AM Eastern Standard Time, we will begin our stream, bright and early!  The stream will he hosted by George and Al, and we’re still trying to figure out who else from the team might be willing to come by, even if only for a couple hours.  On top of that we’re reaching out to other friends of ours, including other YouTubers to see who might want to stop by and join the fun.

We plan on streaming both on YouTube Gaming and Twitch TV, as we’ve often done for our live streams in the past.  As always we’ll keep an eye on chat, try to talk to people, and take any game suggestions from the audience into consideration.  So far we’ve planned out a few things for the stream, both in terms of games and fun things that we can do when we raise a certain amount of donations.  Feel free to send us ideas for the stream, reach us on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube and of course message us in chat during the stream.
